Abstract: This is a proposal for the transition of Professional and Vocational Education programs to an online format and to develop some course re-engineering to enhance pathways and linkages across PVE programs as well as build participation. In addition the proposal will enable closer linkages with the Centre for Lifelong Learning Research and Development. The proposal encompasses the BE (PVE), PGDE (PVE) and MEd (PVE). These are relatively new programs with a need to build student numbers. The project will use alternative approaches that involve: 1. Flexible delivery option using online learning. 2. Flexible entry and accreditation of professional experience. 3. A partnership approach with VET/PVE and industry providers. 4. Project based learning with strong links to the workplace.
