Established in 1984, the Hotel and Tourism Institute (HTI) (酒店及旅遊學院) (formerly Hospitality Industry Training and Development Centre HITDC 旅遊服務業培訓發展中心)[1] provides vocational and professional education and training for the hospitality industry. HTI offers full-time and part-time diploma and certificate programmes targeting young people at Secondary 3 level or above as well as in-service personnel. [2](p.38)
