Caritas Community & Higher Education Service (明愛社區及高等教育服務) is a branch of the Education Division of Caritas - Hong Kong. It was founded in 1963 and originally called Caritas Adult and Higher Education Service (明愛成人及高等教育服務). In 2007, it was renamed to Caritas Community & Higher Education Service (明愛社區及高等教育服務). In the early days, they offered domestic science and secretarial training courses. In 1966, the first adult education centre was set up by [[Shak, Wai Han, Therese]].<ref name="newsletter"/> Full-time programmes were started in 1969.<ref name="cches" />

In 1990, Caritas Francis Hsu College (CFHC) (明愛徐誠斌書院) was approved by the former Governor to offer sub-degree programmes. In 2001, CFHC registered as a post-secondary college. CFHC was awarded degree-granting status in 2011 and offered its first degree programme.  CFHC also renamed as Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) (明愛專上學院) in the same year.

In 2001, Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) (明愛白英奇專業學校) started to offer accredited post-secondary programmes. In 2006, CBCC was being the first non-University Grants Committee-funded institution to be granted a piece of land in Tseung Kwan O for its permanent premises by the Government.

Caritas Community & Higher Education Service (明愛社區及高等教育服務) is a branch of the Education Division of Caritas - Hong Kong. It was founded in 1963 and originally called Caritas Adult and Higher Education Service (明愛成人及高等教育服務). In 2007, it was renamed to Caritas Community & Higher Education Service (明愛社區及高等教育服務). In the early days, they offered domestic science and secretarial training courses. In 1966, the first adult education centre was set up by Shak, Wai Han, Therese.[1] Full-time programmes were started in 1969.[2]
