Chinese Culinary Institute (CCI) (中華廚藝學院) is a member institution of Vocational Training Council (VTC) to provide systematic training in Chinese cuisine[1]. It was established in 2000 as Chinese Cuisine Training Institute (CCTI) (中華廚藝學院). In September 2015, it was renamed Chinese Culinary Institute.

The CCI provides systematic training in Chinese cuisine from elementary to master chef levels and catering management to support Hong Kong’s reputation as the “Food Capital of the East”, thereby to promote tourism in Hong Kong. The programme offers full-time and part-time certificate, diploma and higher diploma programmes in Chinese culinary art for aspiring chefs and in-service personnel. Culinary interest course “Fun Kitchen” is available to tourists who wish to have a taste of Chinese cooking.[2] (p.43)

Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Anson Chan, officiated at the opening ceremony of the Chinese Cuisine Training Institute
