Eventually, the school was resurrected by the newly formed Aero Club of Hong Kong in 1964. In 1962, the training facilities and a number of aircrafts were destroyed because of Typhoon Wanda. Flying instruction then came to a halt. Eventually, the school was resurrected by the newly formed Aero Club of Hong Kong in 1964. As the school was no longer involved in flying training, it was renamed The Far East Flying and Technical School.[3]
