Walter Ngon Fong (鄺華汰) was the principal of Li Sing Scientific and Industrial College, which was founded in 1905. He was originally from Guangdong and studied for the ministry at the University of Pacific in California and became a Methodist preacher. He was the first Chinese to graduate from Stanford University in 1896. For some years, Fong helped to organize the Hong Chung Society, an anti-Qing government organization in America.
