There are 13 member institutions under the VTC Group: Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK), School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE), Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), School of Business and Information Systems (SBI), Hospitality Industry Training and Development Centre (HITDC), [[Chinese Cuisine Training Institute]] (CCTI), Maritime Services Training Institute (MSTI), Youth College (YC), Training & Development Centre, Yeo Chei Man Senior Secondary School (YCM) and Skills Centre.

Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) (香港專業教育學院) was established in 1999 by merging two former technical colleges and seven former technical institutes under the Vocational Training Council to provide quality vocational and professional education and training in Hong Kong.[1]

IVE offers full-time and part-time programmes at levels ranging from higher diploma to certificate and in different areas, covering Applied Science, Business Administration, Childcare, Elderly and Community Services, Engineering, Hotel, Service and Tourism Studies, and Information Technology.[2]
