The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Hong Kong Polytechnic (香港理工學院) was established in 1972, taking over the campus and staff of the Hong Kong Technical College. It was renamed as The Hong Kong Polytechnic University 香港理工大學 in 1994 as acquiring university status on same year 25 November.
