Hong Kong Technical College (Tsing Yi) (香港科技學院(青衣)) was established in 1993. It offered Higher Diploma and Higher Certificate courses which were originally operated by the Hong Kong Polytechnic and the City Polytechnic.[1]
It was renamed the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi) (香港專業教育學院(青衣); IVE (Tsing Yi)) in 1999. It is one of the member institutions of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) providing vocational education to post-secondary students.
