Integrated Vocational Development Centre

The VTC opened its first Integrated Vocational Development Centre (IVDC) (匯縱專業發展中心) in October 2008 to offer a wide range of vocational training programmes for learners with diverse backgrounds and educational attainments. IVDC offers a wide range of courses under the "Manpower Development Scheme" for people aged 15 or above, with educational attainment not higher than sub-degree level. These include the full-time placement-tied courses for the unemployed, Skills Upgrading Scheme Plus (SUS Plus) courses for skills enhancement, as well as Generic Skills Training courses.[1]
