Kwun Tong Vocational Training Centre was established in 1965. The Lutheran World Service, Hong Kong, the predecessor of Hong Kong Christian Service, set up KTVTC in order to provide underprivileged youth and unengaged youth with special skills which may lift them out of poverty. For half a century, KTVTC had always been adhered to its mission to offer unengaged youth vocational training and had indeed trained a lot of talents for Hong Kong.[1]
The centre was closed in July 2013.[2]
