Lung Cheung Government Secondary Technical School (龍翔官立工業中學) was one of five Government planned technical Schools in 1970. It was planned to have 21 teaching classrooms, 11 specialist classrooms, an assembly cum gymnasium, and a library. The curriculum will include general studies as English and Chinese, though emphasis is laid on technical studies. The School will provide 1000 places for students living in Wong Tai Sin, Chuk Yuen and Wang Tau Hom. The school will begin lessons in September. Lung Cheung Government Secondary Technical School renamed to Lung Cheung Government Secondary School in September 1997, in order to reflect the transition from technical school to traditional grammar school.
