Overseen by the Committee on Vocational Training for People with Disabilities (VTPDS), Shine Skills Centre (Shine) (展亮技能發展中心) provides dedicated skills training and support services for people with special education needs aged 15 or above, helping them to develop their potential and enhance employability. [1]

The three offering sites of Shine Skills Centre (SSC) are SSC (Kwun Tong), SSC (Pokfulam) and SSC (Tuen Mun). The first centre was established in 1968[2]. These centres offer dedicated skills training with its diverse programme choices, flexible training mode, a wide range of support services, and committed teaching team. [3]
