Tang King Po Trade School (鄧鏡波工業學校) was founded by the Salesians (慈幼會) in 1953 with a donation from businessman and philanthropist Mr. Tang King Po (鄧鏡波先生). [1] Rev. Fr Godfrey Roozen, S.D.B. (羅志賢神父) was the first Father Rector of the School.

When Tang King Po Trade School opened in 1953, it took over printing classes from St. Louis Industrial School and the shoe-making and tailoring sections from Aberdeen Trade School. The School became a government subsidised secondary school in 1978 and the Pre-vocational section of the School was closed in 1980. [1] The School is now called Tang King Po School (鄧鏡波學校).
