Tang King Po Trade School
From VPET Repository
Tang King Po Trade School (鄧鏡波工業學校) was founded by the Salesians (慈幼會) in 1953 with a donation from businessman and philanthropist Mr. Tang King Po (鄧鏡波先生). Rev. Fr Godfrey Roozen, S.D.B. (羅志賢神父) was the first Father Rector of the School. [1]
When the School started in 1953, it took over printing classes from St. Louis Industrial School and the shoemaking and tailoring sections from Aberdeen Trade School. The School became a government subsidised secondary school in 1978 and the vocational section of the School was closed in 1980. [1] The School is now called Tang King Po School (鄧鏡波學校).
