Vocational Training Council

As to enhance the quality of the city’s workforce through the development of vocational education and training (VET), the Vocational Training Council was established in February 1982. The Council original planned by extending existing technical institutes and building new ones. This had enabled the institutes to take on technician level courses transferred from the Hong Kong Polytechnic, as well as to establish new technician and craft courses.[1] p.20

with the Council's first executive director, Mr. Morris MORGAN 穆勤先生. During the first four formative years of VTC, four? TI (Sha Tin and Tuen Mun) and two new has been established and housed in the Kowloon Bay and Kwai Chung Training Centre Complexes. [2]
