Hotel and Tourism Institute

Established in 1984, the Hotel and Tourism Institute (HTI) (formerly Hospitality Industry Training and Development Centre HITDC) provides vocational and professional education and training for the hospitality industry. HTI offers full-time and part-time diploma and certificate programmes targeting young people at Secondary 3 level or above as well as in-service personnel. ^[1](p.38)

It aims to provide professional training for secondary school leavers who interested in the hospitality industry. Its newly opened The T Hotel enables trainees to receive professional training in a real life working environment. ^[2]
